The Fuchsia Band

Máirtín de Cógáin, Mick Heffernan, Kevin McNally, Eoin Verling

They've done it again!

Hailing from Cork, Ireland, these lads play tunes, dance, sing and have a great time on stage, as well as being top-notch musicians and performers.

SSinger Máirtín de Cógáin is a 2-time Irish National Storytelling Competition winner who comes from West Cork, where traditional music and storytelling thrive. Eoin Verling, button accordion, is also a lovely singer and contributes The Rigs O' Rye to this album. The dance music of the Sliabh Luachra region of Ireland (which includes parts of Cork and Kerry) is unmistakable for it's wonderful bounce that makes you want to dance. The music of the region is best known for fast slides and polkas.
