Stephanie Makem and Tiarnan O Duinnchinn

Traditional Irish song and Uilleann pipes.  Stephanie Makem, granddaughter of singer Sarah Makem and niece of Tommy Makem, exhibits remarkable beauty and emotion in her singing, which echoes strongly of her forebears. Tiarnan's piping is equally remarkable in its dexterity and fire. Difficult to believe it's just one person playing one set of pipes, but yes, he does indeed manage to get all that sound from one instrument!
