Central Missouri Celtic Arts Association

Silent Auction at the End of Summer Ceili, August 25

CMCAA has grown tremendously over our first year and a half, bringing many concerts, classes, and events to the mid-Missouri area. Community support has been wonderful but as with all new organizations, funding is essential to planning future events. We are now turning to you to help us raise funds to help us as we plan events for our next year and a half.

On August 25 at Cherry Street Artisan, CMCAA will have an evening of music, dance, storytelling and song by our summer arts students and other area Irish musicians. This will be a wonderful evening to show our new skills and celebrate CMCAA. At this event, we thought it would be fun to also have a silent auction to help us raise some much-needed funds. At this time, we are looking for donations. We are hoping to have a variety of goods and services to auction.

This is how you can help.
Donate a piece of art, a handmade craft item or an item in some way related to Celtic culture -- music, jewelry, art, books, etc. Services will also be happily auctioned such as a music lesson, calligraphy, massage, or another skill you would like to share.

Please e-mail or call Kate Akers (kakers@chivalry.com or 573-442-2048) to let her know you would like to donate something.  We'll arrange for you to drop off or us to pick up your item before August 25th. Please print this form and submit it with your item.    Silent auction donation form -- PDF

We will make bids on items throughout the evening and at the end of the entertainment, the items will go to the highest bidder.

This is a fun way to help us raise some funds for CMCAA. Please think about what you can donate.

Thank you for supporting the Celtic arts in Central Missouri!
